A quiet decision
We are not short of information. We are short of reflection. Dozens of updates and hundreds of notifications pass through us every day, yet very little stays. Writing turns input into something that can be examined, and it creates a conversation with yourself.
I miss the slower version of the web: no endless push notifications, no compulsive refreshing. Reading an article meant reading the whole article.
What matters is the work that can survive its moment.
Why I write here
I chose a minimal tool: a static blog with no database, no login, and nothing but text and layout. It is quiet enough to stay focused.
- Simple: open the page and the writing is there.
- Fast: static pages arrive almost instantly.
- Independent: the work belongs to me.
I hope this remains a small, quiet space. You are welcome to stay, read, and leave a thought.
